Worshipping God

Knowing Jesus

Loving People

Becoming a community of followers of Jesus Christ
who are growing personal, progressive commitments...
  1. to Jesus Christ
  2. to our own growth as His followers
  3. to other believers, to our families, and to one another
  4. to the work of Christ in the World

We desire to:
  • Introduce people to a personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • Disciple people in becoming servants with us in the Kingdom of God here in the city
  • Minister wholistically to all people living and working in the Mid-Wilshire area of down-town Los Angeles.
  1. We are committed to capturing the freedom of worshipping the Lord, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thanksgiving in our hearts to God (Col. 3:16).
  2. We are committed to developing an intense mutually caring spirit and a renewed devotion to the family (John 13:34-35).
  3. We choose to believe in the power of God to do exploits, develop an emphasis on community penetration, and promote a worldview that encourages a Kingdom consciousness identifiable for and in each member of our fellowship (Acts 1:8).
  4. We will evangelize the lost and preach repentance as a way of life (Mark 16:15-16).
  5. We will preach and teach the Word with unction and authority (2 Tim. 4:1-2).
  6. We are endeavoring to stand upon the Word of God (the Bible) alone in all we do (Ps. 119:105).
  7. We are committed to training up a plurality of Godly leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:9-10).
  8. We are striving to establish functional goals and plans in all we do (Prov 16:9).
  9. We are implementing a practical strategy for making disciples so that we may equip an aggressive active laity for ministry (Eph. 4:12).
  10. We desire to grow a willingness to enrich and innovate (Luke 5:36-39).
  11. We need to challenge people's faith (Matt. 11:25-30).
  12. We are growing a spirit of sacrifice in our giving (2 Cor. 8-9).
  13. We are returning back to counting numbers--because we believe that Kingdom growth is important (Acts 2:41, 47; 4:4).
